Restrictions

I have decided not to write anything into ywSynch that would involve modifying the yWriter project file. This means that some facilities cannot be added to ywSynch.

1. ywSynch will never be able to allow you to change the structure of your novel from the device, including adding new scenes. You will always have to do anything like that from within yWriter itself.
2. Because the scene descriptions are held within the yWriter project file, ywSynch will not ever be able to edit them.
3. The word counts are also held in the yWriter project file, so ywSynch will not be able to update them with changes made on the device automatically. If you want to see your word count for the day in yWriter after synching use the Tools/Force wordcount menu option in yWriter.

ywSynch cannot easily identify multiple remote devices, so at present it can only be used with one remote location.
